The Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Albert Chalamila has asked the businessmen of the DDC Kariakoo building to be ready because the building needs to be demolished and rebuilt to make it better and bring productivity in bringing in income and serving the people.
Chalamila said this, yesterday after visiting the DDC Organization with the aim of knowing how it is run because he expressed his dissatisfaction with the organization not following the rules of its operation and wanted to follow the Laws and procedures set to avoid any inconvenience that may arise, he emphasized that the map to be drawn should be good and ‘Win Win Situation’
Chalamila has warned all those who will dare to destroy infrastructure projects once they are finished that strict legal measures will be taken against them and emphasized good handling of things and money.
During the visit, Chalamila has seen the existing projects in DDC including Shops, Meeting Hall, Bar, Rented toilets, Public garage, Magomeni area and Mlimani City where he has been told how these areas are used and advised that there must be a “Public Private Partnership” in the running of those projects to bring greater productivity to the Organization.
The General Manager of the DDC Organization Mr. Ally Mirambo has said that they have received all the instructions given by RC Chalamila and promised to work on them all.
