The National College of Tourism has signed a cooperation agreement with Muhimbili National Hospital focused on various areas including training for better customer service.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Florian Mtey said Muhimbili National Hospital receives many patients who must be received with hospitality by all service providers.
He said that the college has the guarantee of providing various trainings, including good customer service, specific reception staff that are needed in hospital areas and training in recipes, etc.
Executive Director of Muhimbili National Hospital, Prof. Mohamed Janabi said it is an undeniable fact that public hospitals in the country have been improved by having medical equipment, good buildings, but the issue of customer service is still a challenge.
He said that the signing of the agreement will help to continue to improve services, provide opportunities for students from the college to come and do practical training and conduct various researches about medical tourism.
