Muhimbili National Hospital Mloganzila has opened a special oral and dental clinic every Saturday from 2:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
A statement released yesterday said they will serve clients of all ages who need oral and dental services, including examination, treatment and education on oral and dental care.
Speaking about the goal of establishing the clinic, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Karpal Sohal said there has been an increase in patients who need the service and many do not have time to attend the clinic on Mondays to Fridays, so they have decided to add Saturdays to meet the needs of these patients.
“We have been receiving many patients who need treatment for Oral and Dental Health diseases including surgery and dental implants, filling of cavities, teeth cleaning, as well as aligning of misaligned teeth, so we believe those who miss the opportunity on normal days will have the opportunity to receive services on Saturday”, said, Dr. Sohal
