The Muhimbili National Hospital-Mloganzila has received assistance worth approximately US$3,500 from Ms. Haeja Park (Eliza), a Nurse from South Korea.
A statement released yesterday and circulated to the media said the assistance is aimed at supporting the washing area in the hospital’s operating rooms.
Receiving the assistance on behalf of the management, Assistant Director of Surgical Services Dr. Godlove Mfuko thanked Ms. Haeja for the assistance as it is highly productive in continuing to improve services at the hospital.
“Ms. Haeja has been collaborating with us to provide services and build the capacity of the hospital’s staff at different times, we have seen her collaborating with us in various camps including for kidney transplants”, added Dr. Mfuko
Ms. Haeja said the support aims to support the hospital management’s efforts to improve various areas of service delivery, so its support will further strengthen the area and continue to improve day-to-day operations.
Muhimbili National Hospital Mloganzila has been collaborating with various stakeholders and institutions from South Korea including the Korea Foundation for Health Care (KOFIH), Africa Future Foundation (AFF) and Yonsei University.
