Muhimbili-Mloganzila National Hospital has arrested Mr. Kija Mayunga, a resident of Dodoma, who is alleged to have defrauded the relatives of patients by claiming to help them to get care.
The statement issued by the Mlonganzila news department has said that Mayunga was arrested after a trap was laid where after arresting him they brought him to the police station in Kibamba, Gogoni.
“We have arrested Mr. Mayunga and we have already taken him to the police station of Gogoni Center for further investigative measures so that he can be brought before the law enforcement agencies”, said the statement.
Following this situation, the leadership of Muhimbili Mloganzila National Hospital has called on the public to follow the procedure for getting services, including following the payment procedure set by the hospital to avoid fraud.
