The Principal of the school, Mr. Mohammed Ally says that the use of firewood in the school was costing a large amount of money and affecting the conduct of studies for students. Ally

He added that when the school was established, it had 110 students, it used to spend 650,000 shillings per month to buy firewood, now the school has 471 students and spends 778,600 shillings for two months to buy gas. The number of students at the moment if they used wood the costs would be higher.

Mr. Ally says other costs that have been saved are the costs of regular stove repairs resulting from smoke damage as well as the costs of buying milk for the Cooks.
