The Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Albert Chalamila has launched a law week decorated with a demonstration from the kisutu court to Mnazimmoja grounds, Dar es Salaam.
RC Chalamila, speaking during the opening of the law week yesterday, has given an opinion to the residents of the region to visit the exhibition booths of the law week to get education and legal advice and to make suggestions that will help increase attention and quality in the axis of justice delivery.
The celebration of the law week which carried the slogan “The Importance of the Concept of Justice for the Welfare of the Nation: the role of the Court and Stakeholders in Improving the Integrated Criminal Justice System” where RC Chalamila said that the slogan touches all important areas including the importance of involving stakeholders in the entire justice delivery chain.
RC Chalamila has thanked President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for the large investment in the important axis of justice, the investment is manifested through the use of IT technology and the selection of judges that he has been doing, especially women judges, thus simplifying the performance of the Court’s activities.
Chief Justice of the High Court in Dar es Salaam Region, Salma Maghimbi said the law week is an indicator of the start of legal activities for the new year 2024, so this law week provides an opportunity for citizens to come and learn the duties of the courts in this country.
He said the other thing is to get education and legal advice through the exhibition booths located in these stadiums until the climax of Law Day on February 1, 2024, so I should continue to call on the people to show up in large numbers in the Mnazimmoja stadiums.
