Retired President, Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete is in Boston, USA where he is participating in training Ministers of Finance and Ministers of Planning from various developing countries.
The training is being held under the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program, popularly known as the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Program, run by Harvard University.
Dr. Kikwete is one of the Retired Heads of State invited to participate as trainers, using their leadership experience to inspire and build the capacity of the new generation of leaders.
In addition to Retired Heads of State, this training also involves Heads of International Institutions, representatives of private organizations as well as experts in policy, economics and development issues from various parts of the world.
