The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has met with the owner of Manchester United’s England football club, Sir. Jim Ratcliffe, White House in Dar es Salaam and held talks with him.
The President met with Sir Jim on April 11, 2025 and in their talks President Dr. Samia has thanked Sir Jim Ratcliffe through his Six Rivers Institute which is dealing with conservation issues as it does well.
He said together they are doing well in controlling wildlife and human interaction in collaboration with the Tanzania National Parks Agency (TANAPA) and the Tanzania Wildlife Research Institute (TAWIRI).
Through its Six Rivers Institute, Sir Jim Ratcliffe said the institution, is committed to restoring the status of Selous National Park and having large animals in the park.
