Assistant Director of Surgical Services at Muhimbili National Hospital Mloganzila, Dr. Godlove Mfuko Fund said preparations for the ‘Bobezi’ Transplant and Revision Transplant Service are expected to take place from April 14 to 17, 2025 has been completed.
Dr. The Fund said the hospital has prepared all the necessary equipment in implementing the service which is one of the new ‘Bobezi’ Championship services in the country, experts are well -organized to ensure that the services are completed on time and the required quality.
“We are well -organized as usual, the expert we are partnering with Prof. Li Wei who specializes in the transplant services has arrived, so this service will be provided as planned”, said, Dr. Mfuko
Dr. Mfuko said the camp, would also be used to build capacity for local experts from more than 10 public and private hospitals with the aim of continuing to expand the scope of access to such services in the country.
The referral camp will be conducted in conjunction with the hip and knee transplantation that has been provided by the hospital since 2023.
