The Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Mr. Albert Chalamila, on April 09, 2025, visited the construction of various development projects in Kibamba Constituency, Ubungo District and ordered that the projects be built to standards and value for money. He also ordered that the projects be completed on time.
Speaking immediately after laying the foundation stone for the mother and child building project at the Mpiji Magoe health center, RC Chalamila thanked the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, for providing a lot of money that facilitates the implementation of development projects in the district.

He said it is important to carry out the construction of projects that consider value for money, projects that can last for many years and that the construction is completed on time to end the suffering of mothers and children.
While at the Goba Kulangwa Secondary School construction project, RC Chalamila has emphasized the issue of security and safety, especially as the country heads towards the General Elections, so he has ordered the completion of the construction of the Tegeta A police station.
The Mayor of Ubungo Municipality, Mr. Juma Japhari Nyaigesha has urged citizens and businessmen not to evade paying taxes as they are the source of funds for the construction of development projects including health centers while the Medical Officer of the Mpiji Magoe Health Center, Dr. Hereswida Cosmas, explaining the progress of the construction of the mother and child building, said that the construction is progressing well and will be completed on time.
During the visit, RC Chalamila also visited and inspected the Kibamba water project as well as the Goba Kulangwa secondary school project and was pleased with its progress.
RC Chalamila after inspecting the projects held a public meeting in Saranga Ward at the local government office and listened to various concerns of the citizens including the poor condition of the roads, the TASAF challenge, Water, and the delay in completing the construction of the dispensary.
He has promised that before Friday next week, 100 million shillings in cash will have been brought to complete the construction of the dispensary, however, he has clarified other concerns by assuring them, President Dr. Samia is at work. All challenges will be resolved.
