Stakeholders from NEST 360 involved in implementing a special plan to reduce infant mortality have said they are ready to collaborate with Muhimbili National Hospital Mloganzila [MNH] to reduce infant mortality under 28 days.
NEST 306 said this on February 19, 2025 when they visited MNH-Mloganzila with the aim of seeing how they can collaborate to improve services for infants under 28 days of age who are served in a special unit (NICU).

Speaking to the delegation, the Assistant Director of Surgical Services MNH-Mloganzila, Dr. Godlove Mfuko said NEST 360 has been collaborating with MNH-Mloganzila more closely where it has been providing medical equipment support as well as conducting training for various specialists who serve infants.
“In November, 2024 NEST 360 provided medical equipment, including phototherapy machines, temperature monitoring machines for newborns and other medical equipment that are used to provide services in the unit worth approximately TZS 53 million”, said Dr. Mfuko
NEST 360 Resident Representative Ms. Mariam Johari has commended Muhimbili Mloganzila for the services they provide and promised that they will continue to collaborate in continuing to improve services for newborns under 28 days.
