THE CHAIRMAN of the Tanzania Women’s Union who is also a member of the CCM National Executive Committee, Mrs. Mary Chatanda has commended the great efforts made by a member of the CCM National Executive Council who is also a member of the UWT National Executive Committee, Mrs. Fatma Rembo for providing shillings 54 million to complete the construction of the house of the UWT Secretary in Iringa region.

Mrs. Fatma Rembo handed over shillings 54 million to the UWT Iringa region to complete the construction of the house after seeing that it was struggling to complete its construction, including the regional special seats MPs as well as other stakeholders who contributed to the construction.

“Let me take this opportunity to congratulate you, the member of the executive committee of the UWT National Council, dear Mrs. Fatma Rembo, for completing this constituency to this point. You are certainly doing your part by marking your mark in your Iringa region. I heard in the construction report that they said you spent 54 million shillings, it is not a small matter, congratulations on doing justice to their role as a member of the executive committee of the UWT National Council”, said Mrs. Chatanda.

She said that the Revolutionary Party, CCM led by the Chairman of the CCM National President, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, gave instructions within the National Council that it is good for the party and its organizations to build houses for employees so that when they are transferred to another area, they can find a place to live.

“Therefore, I would like to issue an order to the entire country to regions that have not completed the construction of houses for employees, starting from the regional and district levels, to ensure that they complete them.

Ms. Chatanda has laid the foundation stone for the construction of the UWT district secretary’s house in Iringa city, while urging that the house be completed quickly so that to be launched in February 2025 and put into operation.
