The Chairman of the CCM Youth Union (UVCCM), Mr. Mohammed Ali Kawaida has led the youth in the launch of the awards (UVCCM KIJANI AWARDS) which will involve Youth who have done well in various sectors this year.
The launch of the awards that have been organized by UVCCM have gone hand in hand with the launch of the UVCCM Alumni Forum, which took place on December 21, 2024 in Mbagala Zakhem, Dar es Salaam and will be followed by various events including social events and the process of finding candidates for those awards that the distribution ceremony will be held at the beginning of February 2025.
UVCCM Alumn Forum, the official guest is expected to be CCM Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Nchimbi.
Inaugurating the awards, the Chairman of UVCCM, Mr. Mohamed Kawaida said that these Awards should not only recognize those who win but also remind us to reflect on various things like, how can we serve our communities better?, how can we continue to contribute to the success of our country?.
Another thing to think about is how we Tanzanian youth can take our leadership positions within the UVCCM and the nation as a whole?
Secretary General of UVCCM, Miss. Jokate Mwegelo said that these awards are not only aimed at honoring those who have done well but are a tool to inspire, encourage, and encourage every young person in Tanzania to continue to strive to do well where they are, the awards will be given every year and every year, we will recognize Members in various aspects that reflect our various works and contributions.
She said it is good service to the community, innovative leadership, youth entrepreneurship, gardening and social movement, or academic success. This is the first time and it is history being written within the UVCCM to organize awards and events that aim to raise the spirit of the Youth inside and outside the Community.
