The nurses of Muhimbili National Hospital – Mloganzila have been asked to work hard and meet the expectations of customers because they are the ones in the front line to serve patients.
The call has been made by the Assistant Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services MNH-Mloganzila, Dr. Deborah Bukuku during an event organized by the Tanzania Nurses Association (TANNA) Muhumbili-Mloganzila Branch with the aim of welcoming and introducing her as the guardian of the branch.
Dr. Deborah has said that nurses are the ones who stay with the patient for a long time, so they have to devote themselves more to provide the best care for the patients they care for.
Also, Dr. Deborah has asked nurses to join TANNA because the association has a great contribution in managing and defending the interests of nurses.
“It is important for nurses to join TANNA because it helps in managing interests at work, resolving conflicts that may arise between them and the employer, managing work ethics as well as providing motivation for nurses to develop themselves educationally”, said Dr. Deborah
Chairman of TANNA Mloganzila Branch, Mr. Wilson Fungameza has congratulated Dr. Deborah for agreeing to be the guardian of the branch and promising that they will cooperate with her side by side to ensure that the branch becomes stronger in managing and carrying out its duties.
The event has gone along with the distribution of certificates to some of the leaders who have completed their term since the establishment of the branch in 2018.
