Minister of State, Office of the President Regional Administrations and Local Governments Hon. Mohamed Mchengerwa has called on the leadership of the Friday Grand Mosque- Utende to strengthen the classroom for children and young people so that they have good morals in society.
Hon. Mchengerwa made the statement on November 17, 2024 at the inauguration of the Friday Grand Mosque – Utende in Mafia district in Pwani region. The mosque was built by the Al-Jaziira Islamic Centre.
“The mosque should supervise training for the community around it to remind each other to fear God by following his book of the Holy Quran as well as following the training that came with our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by accepting the system and conduct of his life”, said Hon. Mchengerwe
Hon. Mchengerwa has also asked the trustees of the mosque to conduct research and establish educational and training institutions for young women, men and adults and build communication and relationships with other mosques to share religious knowledge and social development.
He has also called on all qualified Tanzanians to come out in large numbers to vote in the local government elections on November 27, 2024 in order to be able to elect qualified leaders and avoid acts of corruption.
