General Secretary of the Revolutionary Party (CCM), Ambassador Dr. Emmanuel John Nchimbi has called on the CCM Youth Union, (UVCCM) as well as other communities of the party to continue to compete with arguments and be a good example when discussing various national issues.
Speaking at the end of the youth walk to commemorate the memory of Master Julius Nyerere, Ambassador Nchimbi made it clear that CCM’s chance to win in the Local Government Elections in November this year depends a lot on the efforts of the young people.
Ambassador Nchimbi, was speaking in front of about 2,156 young people who walked from Butiama, Mara Region, to Nyamagana, Mwanza City, he emphasized the importance of CCM young people being at the forefront of actively seeking votes.
He said that the victory of CCM will not be achieved by chance but through deliberate efforts and strategic plans while asking the youth to work day and night to ensure that the party gets a big victory.
“Youths of UVCCM, you are an important pillar in this party, the victory of CCM is in your hands. You should compete with arguments and make sure you are looking for CCM votes day and night”, said Ambassador Nchimbi.
Nchimbi also congratulated the UVCCM for organizing the walk, which he said had great meaning for the Party and the entire nation.
He explained that the youth walk that started on October 9, 2024 to October 13, 2024, has brought comfort to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, who is also the Chairman of CCM.
Said the President, Dr. Samia is a believer in the philosophies of Mwalimu Nyerere and so the walk has touched her in a unique way.
“I am very happy to see that the young people of UVCCM have had the courage to organize this walk. Mwalimu Nyerere was a follower of his own philosophies and the first time he walked on foot to support the Arusha Declaration. Since then, walking has become a sign of strong faith in something”, he added.
Ambassador Nchimbi stressed that under the leadership of President Samia, the Union of Tanzania has had great prosperity and peace has continued to last.
