President of Zanzibar and Chairman of the Revolutionary Council Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi has said, Zanzibar continues to bring major infrastructure reforms with the aim of attracting investors.
President Dr. Mwinyi said this in October, 2024, when he met the President of Samsung C&T Corporation Oh Se-Chul from South Korea and his message at the Zanzibar House.
President Dr. Mwinyi assured the investors that Zanzibar has many opportunities and invited Zanzibar to invest.
Dr. Mwinyi has explained to the message that the priority areas in investment right now for Zanzibar are Tourism, Blue Economy, Fishing, Transport and Oil and gas.
President Dr. Mwinyi has congratulated the Samsung C&T company for the idea of ​​collaborating with African countries, especially in the South of the Sahara desert in various fields of investment as well as establishing their office in Tanzania.
The President of the Company, Mr. Oh Se-Chul has explained to President Dr. Mwinyi that the Company in expanding the scope of investment has now decided to come to Africa and Tanzania as a priority for their investment as well as opening their offices here in the country.
