Minister of State, Office of the President – TAMISEMI, Mr. Mohamed Mchengerwa has said that the Government will send Sh. 3.2 billion for the construction of Health Center, Secondary School and Lami Peramiho road in Songea District Council in Ruvuma region.
Mr. Mchengerwa said this during the visit of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Samia Hassan was talking to the people of Peramiho State.
“The President has instructed me that due to the number of people here in Peramiho, they cannot continue to receive health services at the Clinic, so the President’s Office – TAMISEMI should bring Shs. 600 million for the Health Center, I promise the Honorable President, the money will be brought immediately so that construction can begin” , said Mr. Mchengerwe
He has said Hon. The President has directed Sh. 600 million should be sent for the construction of Secondary School in the province.
“Let me assure you President that the money will be brought immediately so that the children of Peramiho can study in the best secondary school, your government will also increase the asphalt road network with a length of 2 kilometers which will cost approximately two billion shs”, said Mr. Mchengerwe
The President of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. Samia Hassan is on the second day of her working visit to the region which is expected to end on September 28, 2024.
