It has been stated that, the cooperation strategy set by the Ministries involved in the Water Sector to provide education on protecting water sources as well as collaborating with the community to protect those sources has shown success.
Deputy Minister of Energy, Mrs. Judith Kapinga has said that, September 24, 2024 in Ruvuma region when the President, Dr. When Samia Hassan launched a water project in the Mtyangimbale area as a continuation of her visit to the region.
Mrs. Kapinga said that the cooperation of these ministries does not end in providing education and protecting water sources only, but they ensure that water is used in accordance with the needs of each sector.
He emphasized that recognizing the water sector is important, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy, Dr. Doto Biteko convened a meeting of all Ministries that benefit from the Water Sector with the intention of setting cooperation strategies in the sustainable use of water.
