The Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism asked the NCAA to manage tourism activities

Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Mr. Dunstan Luka Kitandula has asked the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority (NCAA) to fully manage tourism activities to protect the work done by the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Hassan to promote the industry internationally and increase the number of tourists in the country.

Mr. Kitandula made the statement, after finishing his two-day visit at the end of the week that he made in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to inspect the road infrastructure and talk to the management of the Authority led by the Conservation Commissioner Dr. Elirehema Doriye.

He said that in order to ensure that the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority continues to be the best attraction in the world, it is good to increase its strength in improving road infrastructure, which will help strengthen tourism activities and increase the number of tourists.

“The great job of promoting tourism has been done by President Dr. Samia Hassan, so it is our responsibility to manage the work and not accept to go back, strengthen the tourism infrastructure so that our country continues to have a great international reputation”, said Deputy Minister Kitandula.

Conservation Commissioner of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority Dr. Elirehema Doriye assured Deputy Minister Kitandula that the Authority will work on all the instructions to ensure that the tourism sector continues to grow and thus increase the number of tourists and income from the sector.

During the visit, the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Mr. Dunstan Kitandula visited the road from Loduare to Golini towards Serengeti, Ndutu Road towards Endulen, Olduvai Road through Golini and he also had the opportunity to inspect the construction of the headquarters building of the Ngorongoro Conservation Authority located on the outskirts of Karatu town.
