Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Selemani Jafo (Mb) has visited the Pavilion of the Measurement Agency (WMA) at the peak of the Farmers’ and Breeders’ Exhibition known as Nane Nane in Dodoma and encouraged to continue providing measurement education to Tanzanians, especially farmers.
Speaking to WMA experts participating in the exhibition, Mr. Jafo has praised the good preparations that have been made and emphasized that measurement education should continue to be provided to agricultural stakeholders and citizens in general.
“Measurement education is very important, so even after the demonstrations, continue to educate the public,” he said.
For his part, the Chief Executive Officer of WMA, Mr. Alban Kiula, has said that WMA will continue to provide measurement education to the public for two more days in the eighth edition following the order of the official guest, Dr. President Samia Suluhu Hassan gave the solution when closing the demonstrations that were celebrated nationally in Dodoma.
Mr. Kiula added that WMA will continue to provide education through various campaigns throughout the country to ensure that all citizens gain understanding about the use of correct measurements and their benefits.
