The President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan has said that the national grid system has electricity to meet social and economic needs.
President Samia said this at the beginning of this month in Gairo district, Morogoro region while on a business visit. President Samia has said that the government is increasingly strengthening the state of access to electricity in the country through the construction and repair of infrastructure where it has built a center to receive and cool electricity in Kongwa district in Dodoma region which will also improve the state of electricity in Gairo district.
He added that the way to transport electricity from the Kongwa cooling station to Gairo district has been completed.
