Parliamentary staff and members of parliament benefit from training from PRIDE

The Parliament of India has promised to provide more training opportunities for civil servants through its Institute for Research and Training in Democracy (PRIDE) run by the Parliament.

The promise was made by the Speaker of the Indian Parliament “Lok Sabha”, Hon. Om Birla during his conversation with the Speaker of the Parliament of Tanzania who is also the President of the International Parliamentary Union (IPU), Dr. Tulia Ackson at the Parliament Offices, New Delhi, India.

In that conversation, Hon. Birla has explained to Dr. Find out about the improvements made by the Institute, including increasing the number of funding for public servants from various countries in the world, especially parliamentarians and parliamentarians of those countries.

Hon. Birla has given special priority to Tanzanian employees based on the friendship, history and long-standing relationship between Tanzania and India.

Recognizing the position of Dr. Tulia, being the President of IPU, has promised through PRIDE to collaborate with IPU to prepare training for employees and members of parliament of the union.

At the same time, the Speakers have congratulated their governments for continuing to strengthen the relationship that promotes economic and social development for the benefit of those countries.

“The cooperation between our governments has improved further after the visit of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, the Hon. Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan that he made last year has increased the scope of cooperation with our brothers in India”.

“The responsibility of our parliaments is to cooperate by managing and advising our governments to implement the agreements for the benefit of our citizens”. Said Dr. Calm down

Dr. Tulia has used the opportunity to thank the Parliament of India for supporting her during the IPU Presidential election campaign and the Parliament to continue to manage the foundations of democracy, good governance and increase the number of women MPs and special groups in the Parliament.
