The President of Zanzibar and the Chairman of the Revolutionary Council, Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi has said that the best way to honor the retired Prime Minister Edward Ngoyai Lowassa is to continue to live his vision of patriotism, responsibility so that it becomes a vision to build unity and take steps for development in the country.
President Dr. Mwinyi said this, when he offered condolences and paid his last respects to the late retired Prime Minister Edward Ngoyai Lowassa at the Karimjee grounds in Dar es Salaam yesterday.
President Dr. Mwinyi has given his condolences to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan and all citizens for this tragedy.
On the other hand, President Dr. Mwinyi has explained that he has learned a lot from the late Edward Ngoyai Lowassa, including patriotism, responsibility, cooperation with people of all groups and putting the country’s interests first.
