The Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Albert Chalamila, has instructed school principals to stop the habit of collecting donations from students for desks and classrooms because the government is handling the infrastructure for all government primary and secondary schools.
RC Chalamila has said this at the Osterbay Secondary School when he visited primary and secondary schools to see the originality of the students, while there is one day left for the school to open.
He has ordered all the schools in the “Prime Areas” to build flats to keep a good balance between the flat itself and the location.
RC Chalamila has asked parents to send all their children to school without discrimination along with discipline for children to be maintained because children are the nation of tomorrow
Chalamila has used the opportunity to encourage the use of “Science and Technology” in teaching children where he has said that currently teachers are teaching students through the Internet.
He has also encouraged cleanliness to be a permanent agenda for the citizens of Dar es Salaam because by doing so we are keeping the region in a state of cleanliness along with avoiding epidemic diseases such as cholera, typhoid fever and diarrhea so he has asked the executives and the ward to consider that agenda.
Kinondoni District Head, Saad Mtambule has acknowledged receiving all the instructions and promised to act on them,
It should be noted that all preparations have been made and students continue to report to school, a sign of showing that parents are satisfied with the infrastructure as well as the quality of education provided.
