The Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner , Albert Chalamila has officially introduced himself to the leaders of Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) after meeting them for the first time at the Youth Social Hall in Kinondoni and talking to them in a special meeting of those leaders.
Chalamila said he would like to introduce himself officially because since he was appointed by the President as the Governor of Dar es Salaam, he has never had the opportunity to meet CCM leaders in large numbers.
The CCM leaders he met are from the Regional, District, Ward and Local level under the chairman of CCM Da es Salaam Region Abbas Mtemvu where he also wished them a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Chalamila has said that since he started working in Ar es Salaam Region, he has received and continues to receive great respect and great support from CCM.
“I have come to Dar to be transferred from Kagera. I would like to use this opportunity to thank the Chairman of CCM Taifa and the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan for believing in me and raising me in Dar es Salaam”, said Chalamila
Chalamila has said that every member of CCM is good to talk to each other for the broad interests of the party and we must also be strong in dealing with provocations especially in these times leading up to the elections.
“I will stand firm day and night with CCM, my faith in politics is CCM and I will not discriminate against someone who is outside CCM”, insisted Chalamila.
He has expressed his opinion to continue to support the chairman of CCM Taifa, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan and everyone to be good counselors for peace and also to provide election education by ensuring that the party appoints good people who are loved by many people in their areas.
The Chairman of the Regional Party, Abbas Mtevu, has asked the leaders in their areas to organize themselves with a resounding victory in all the streets and not by handball.
“If the district loses a street, I will not be with the relevant leader who asked for his own leadership position and work”.
He has also asked the District Heads to create an enabling economic environment for the people by holding concerts that create opportunities for the people as was done in Kigamboni District.
