Alima Macha
“They have been role models in the way they have been able to demonstrate without any doubt about the power and strength of a woman”, added Macha
“In the field of politics, here we have Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania and Chairman of CCM whose competence, strength and ability in leadership, is recognized and accepted around the world now. Just last week, Forbes magazine named her as one of the 100 most powerful and influential women in the world,” said Macha.
Emphasizing the importance of self-confidence using the concept of a woman’s power rather than focusing on weaknesses.
Macha said our SWAPO colleagues in Namibia are preparing for the next General Election to put their presidential candidate as a woman. Therefore, they are also preparing to imitate Tanzania by having a female candidate. This is another example of how women should change their attitudes towards the true concept of self-confidence and strength.
We have these examples in all aspects of life now, even those that run the world, be it political, professional, sports and many others. Here we have the example of Professor Marcellina Chijoriga, you can see how she manages and runs this College with international standards and appearance,” said Macha.
He called on young women leaders not to be weak to ensure that they fulfill their dreams of success in various fields in their lives.
