Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) has united with the people of the small town of Katesh in Hanang District, Manyara Region and sent the aid of medicine and medical equipment worth TZS. 38 Mil to help victims.
The people of the area at the beginning of this week have suffered from the disaster of floods that caused landslides from Mount Katesh and brought great harm including deaths, injuries, loss of property and damage to infrastructure.
Speaking on behalf of the Executive Director of MNH, Head of Pharmacy Department, Pharmacist. Nelson Faustine has said that along with the help, the Hospital has sent a Psychotherapist to join the teams of various experts who are there providing services to the victims of the floods.
This action is also in response to the call of the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan who has ordered to send psychologists to talk to the citizens who suffered stress from the incident so that they can return to a normal state.
The Board of Trustees, Management and Staff of Muhimbili National Hospital continue to apologize to the people of the small town of Katesh in Hanang District, Manyara Region due to the harm they suffered.
Similarly, the Muhimbili National Hospital (MNH) has donated medicines and medical equipment worth TZS. 38 million to support aid efforts to restore the lives of the Katesh people to their normal state.
