Experts from the University of Utah Neurosurgery in the United States have visited Muhimbili-Mloganzila National Hospital with the aim of seeing the infrastructure for providing services and meeting with experts as part of the institution’s strategic plan to collaborate with Muhimbili National Hospital (Upanga & Mloganzila) to strengthen the unit stroke unit
Previously, the experts met with the Executive Director of Muhimbili National Hospital, Prof. Mohamed Janabi who
he said that the program will be of great benefit as it will help the treatment for people who had a stroke within the first 24 hours.
He said that Muhimbili is equipped with modern treatments for treating stroke patients, including the Angio-Suite plant which is used for diagnosis and treatment of stroke, as well as experts specializing in treating stroke.
