The head of the region of Dar es Salaam, Albert Chalamila RC Chalamila has called on all leaders to be honest when they are entrusted with money for school projects to be used as intended so that the value of the buildings is in line with the money given.
Inspecting the construction of Mvuti Secondary School located in Msongola district of Ilala district, Dar es Salaam Regional Commissioner, Chalamila said that he has congratulated the management of the school for building a modern school with Tiles that a large percentage has been in line with the actual value of the funds provided.
Chalamila congratulated the school Principal for his management despite the fact that there is no shortage of fugusifugisi but he has tried to stand up and show a good sign of financial management in building modern classrooms, better Bati, Tiles, glass windows and ‘Gypsum Board’.
“Now that he has completed our school, it means we will get good answers, he is the builder because money is coming into his school, it means that he has done a good job together with his colleagues by managing”, said Chalamila
The Head of the District, Edward Mpogolo said that many schools that were given funds have failed to build modern schools which leads to frequent repairs and promised that from now on all schools in the Ilala District will be built using Tiles.
Msongola Ward Councilor Azizi Mwalile thanked Chalamila for his visit despite the fact that there is a bad road especially this rainy season, he also congratulated them for the money given to them to facilitate development projects including the construction of the school, as well as he did not stop touching on the challenges they face including the lack of water , roads and border conflicts.
It should be noted that the school project is the first major modern project in the ward with a value of 528 million shillings.
