The Ministry of Minerals and its institutions continue to provide mineral education in Geita

The Ministry of Mines and its Institutions on October 03, 2024 has continued to provide education to mining stakeholders at the Seventh Technology and Investment Exhibition in the Mining Sector that is ongoing at Bombambili Park in Geita.

On the part of the Mining Commission, education has continued to be provided in the areas of management and control of the Mining Sector and the collection of Government revenue from various charges arising from mining activities, the issuance and management of licenses for mineral exploration, mining and mineral trading. as well as how to register in the Online Mining Cadastre Transaction Portal (OMCTP), inspection and safety of mines, health, environment and the best way to produce minerals for small, medium and large mines.

Other areas include the management of mining business that takes place in mineral markets established in the country, the participation of Tanzanians in the Mining Sector and the responsibility of investors to the community in improving services (Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

.Education has focused on the areas of obtaining various permits to transport minerals in and out of the country and the services provided by the Mining Commission Laboratory, especially the testing of metallic minerals.
