Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Ambassador Dr. Pindi Chana (Mb) has emphasized that the exercise of voluntary migration for the people of Ngorongoro is ongoing while stressing that the Government is making various improvements to facilitate the exercise.
He said this on September 12, 2024 when he was talking to the staff of the Ngorongoro Area Park Authority at the Headquarters of the NCAA Offices in Karatu District in Arusha Region.
“Let me just say that the exercise of voluntary migration continues and improvements are ongoing and there are areas in Kitwai, Kilindi and other places where people like to go, they go voluntarily”, emphasized Ambassador Chana.
He has asked the Conservation Officers to manage the exercise well in order to facilitate its implementation.
In addition, he has asked them to continue to follow the various instructions of the Government, including improving the provision of social services to citizens such as gates and toilets for students.
