Deputy Secretary General Office of the President – TAMISEMI dealing with Health Dr. Grace Magembe has said that the Government continues to ensure that the primary health care centers in the country continue to be closed by the electronic system for controlling and monitoring customer information (GoTHoMIS).
Dr. Grace has said this, on September 11, 2024, during the handing over of 8 IT equipment (GoTHoMIS) in health service centers in Dodoma Region.
He said that for the Dodoma region, a total of 235 health care centers are expected to benefit from the equipment provided by the Korean government through the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), which is implementing the project in the Dodoma region.
“The system helps us eliminate monopolies together to get accurate data and increase the efficiency of our work, especially in the Health sector. The President’s Office TAMISEMI ensures that all our facilities, starting from district hospitals, health centers and clinics, are now providing services using the systems”, said Dr. Grace
Regional Head of Dodoma Bibi. Rosemary Senyamule has instructed the chief physicians of Dodoma Regional Councils to ensure that they maintain equipment that enables increasing revenue collection, monitoring and controlling patient information.
“135 stations will receive these devices accompanied by installation and training for users, 82 stations will be given only such devices, directors ensure that these devices are installed and put into use so that we do not lose the commitment of those who made it possible”, she explains
Resident Director of KOICA Mr. Man Sik Shin has said that the South Korean Government is collaborating with Tanzania on the implementation of projects in the education and health sectors where the project has cost more than 16 billion.
