‘Pray for the Union to last’ – Chalamila

The Regional Commissioner of Dar es Salaam, Albert Chalamila has joined the residents of the Kinondoni District in the hall at Soko la Magomeni to request a special prayer for the leaders of the country and the Nation of Tanzania.

Chalamila said that Tanzania is one of the few countries in the world whose Union is exemplary because the founders of this nation, the late Mwl JK Nyerere and the late Amen Abeid Karume, united these two countries Tanganyika and Zanzibar and got the name Tanzania, they saw the importance of uniting the nation economically, diplomatically and political.

So in the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the United Republic of Tanzania, we are witnessing great success in various fields and adding that as we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the United Republic of Tanzania, let us sincerely pray for the President and the Nation as a whole.

He has said that many infrastructures have been improved such as schools, markets and roads, so what is required of each of us is to protect the Union with all our strength for the well-being of our people in both the mainland and the islands.
